BLESSED Ralph ASHLEY SJ (Brother) Admitted to the Society of Jesus, he served in the College of Rheims in the Low Countries, as well as in the Royal English College at VALLADOLID. After returning to England, he was condemned as a presumed accomplice in the Gunpowder Conspiracy against Parliament. He was drawn, hung and quartered on the 7th of April 1607.

He was beatified by Pope Pius IX on the 15th of December 1929.
