BLESSED Richard (Thomas) REYNOLDS (alias GREEN) was born in Warwickshire. He was educated at Douai, and after being sent to the English Seminar in SEVILLE, he was ordained a priest in Cádiz in 1592.

After to return to England, he worked for the Catholic Mission for more than fifty years. Condemned for being a priest, he was stripped, hung, drawn and quartered at Tyburn (London) on the 21st of January 1642.

He was beatified on the 15th of December 1929.
