Visited Alba de Tormes during April 2015

‘As part of the celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the birth of St Theresa of Ávila, the College community visited Alba de Tormes during April 2015.’

Alba de Tormes, near to Salamanca is the place where St. Theresa died. Here we see the College community in the Plaza Mayor of Alba’.

In April 2015 the European English-Speaking Rectors visited the College in order to hold their Conference. During their stay they were able to visit Ávila which was fitting, as this year is the 500th Anniversary of St. Theresa’s birth. As well as this visit a Cultural Event took place one evening. There was an informative talk given that provided an explanation about some of the wines of Spain, as well as explaining how one should taste wine’.

‘As well as tasting wine, we listened to some classical Spanish guitar music’.

Prayer to Our Lady
May Our Lady Vulnerata and

all our Martyr Saints

intercede for us with the Lord,

that our students and benefactors,

past and present,

may be helped and saved

by Him.
